 We started Sensational
Sounds in 1999 with the desire to provide quality music and entertainment at
a reasonable price. Now, almost 10 years later, we are one of the most
respected DJ businesses in Colorado. We are proud to say that we are a preferred DJ company on most Venues throughout
Colorado. We understand that the DJ will "make" or "break" your event.
Therefore, we work closely and professionally to ensure we will "make"
YOUR event.

Although our DJs are young, they are

special day possible. All of Sensational Sounds DJs are Try BEATS Certified
(Try Being Everything and Then Some). Try BEATS is a certification program
the DJs complete to ensure they know the proper etiquette and
professionalism at any event.

personally and professionally trained by the owner, Bobby Sorden. The DJs
understand the importance of every event, and are trained in
professionalism, good communication, and organization. You are sure to have

Bobby
Sorden - Owner |
|
 Bobby is the owner and the
back-up DJ for Sensational Sounds. As the owner, Bobby does all of the
planning and organization to help ensure your event goes according to plan.
Bobby personally trains all the DJs, therefore, you are sure to have a
professional DJ who will ensure your event goes exactly how you envision.
Bobby's DJs are more than just employees of Sensational
Sounds. They are friends of his and they understand the
importance of professionalism and making sure your event
goes smoothly.
Sensational
Sounds DJs
are not sub-contractors, they use Bobby's vehicles and equipment
so he can make sure everything is in working order so you
are rest-assured you will have a great DJ show up and make
your event a sensational memory...
Bobby holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from the University
of Phoenix and a Masters of Science in Management with an Emphasis on
Organizational Leadership from Regis University. Bobby started Sensational
Sounds in 1999 and over the years, expanded the company to 3 systems. His
goal-oriented devotion to both Sensational Sounds and his education
continues to help him make Sensational Sounds a successful DJ company. In
addition to operating Sensational Sounds, Bobby teaches Broadcast
Journalism, Yearbook and Technology at a local middle school and he is
currently working on his Doctorate.

John |
|
 John
is a sophomore at the University of Colorado at Colorado
Springs. He is currently working on a bachelor's in English,
and hopes to go to law school. He loves to watch and
play sports. He played football and ran track in college,
and he is going out for the club lacrosse team at UCCS. He
also loves mountain biking and trail running. Music is also
one of his passions and he listens to everything from
Beethoven, to Hank Williams, to 50 Cent, to Metallica, to DJ Tiesto, and much, much more. Reading and writing are pretty
high on his list of likes as well. He loves to write poetry
when he can. Most of all, he will ensure your event is fun
and memorable. |

Tim |
|
 Tim is currently
enrolled in the Teacher Education Program at the University
of Colorado at Colorado Springs working toward a degree in
English studies and his Secondary teacher’s license. Tim
loves to be outdoors and is an avid runner, skier, and
climber. He enjoys a diverse range of music from country to
80’s pop. Tim hopes that he can provide his best at your
event and see that all your needs are met.

Josh |
|
 Josh
is a motivated student at Pine Creek High School who
is involved in many different activities. He is
involved in Pine Creek's Student Council where he is
a senator and he is also in charge of the
Multi-Media Committee. In his three years at Pine
Creek he has been using his DJ abilities for school
dances and other school functions. Although he is a
new member of the team, he is very excited to be
working for Sensational Sounds. Some of his other
activities include a group called Wyldlife, playing
his guitar, and just hanging out with friends. Josh
loves all types of music whether it be classical
music or the hardest rock and various pop/rap. He is
a DJ that is willing to go the extra distance to
make your event go as smoothly as possible and the
way you always imagined it. |

Matt |
|
Matt
is a Graduate Assistant at West Texas A
& M University and recently graduated from
Wartburg College with degrees in Electronic Media
and Theatre. While in college he competed in
forensics and traveled the country getting to meet
many great people who love to speak!
He enjoys making people happy and works hard to make
sure that any event goes off with wonderful results.
When he is not DJing he is an enthusiast of frisbee
golf, music of many genres, good friends, and the
outdoors.

Denae |
|
Denae
is a drum major and member of annual musicals.
Going to college for a degree in
education, she focuses on the early childhood aspect
in hopes of working with little kids. Denae enjoys
many activities such as acting, dancing and singing,
all which play into her love for music. She enjoys
playing music and hearing all the different genres
which make her music interest unique. Her out-going
personality and dedication are sure to make any
event exciting and unforgettable.
